Pianodrome is a documentary project centred on Artem’s journey and his discovery of Pianodrome. Far from home, he found a renewed sense of peace and purpose in an unexpected place. As a Ukrainian refugee, Artem struggled with anxiety and homesickness until he began visiting Pianodrome, where playing the piano became a way to ease his stress.
Over time, those visits turned into something more meaningful. Reconnecting with a passion he had before moving to Scotland, Artem went on to open a coffee shop in the space—creating not only a livelihood but also a sense of belonging.
